Founded in 1979, BCU is an Indonesian manufacturer of industrial grade pump package and system. It specializes in technical design engineering for handling and controlling fluids in installations and operation systems which are very complex and risky; hence, requiring high reliability and accuracy. BCU's capabilities are also supported by sophisticated machines with high accuracy, such as: Integrex 5-axis CNC-Multitasking-machine, large CNC machining-center, heavy-duty vertical CNC-lathe, GTAW/SMAW quality welding, sandblasting etc. To ensure the performance of BCU products, testing facilities are available for pumps and systems, in the form of a 180 m3 underground pool, a 730-kW ready-to-use resource that can be increased to 2.5 MW, Coriolis flowmeter (accuracy 0.05%), DTC-frequency inverter, direct shaft torquemeter, simultaneous 4-point vibration detection system, modular data processing with SCADA, etc. Now BCU is the only company in Indonesia which has been around for such length of time, specifically handling the field of pumps and their systems. BCU has the most references throughout Indonesia in the form of the heaviest pump installations with the most difficult conditions, which require integrated studies and complex calculations of hydrodynamics, roto-dynamics, metallurgy, stress analysis/element resistance, mechatronic energy conversion, and control.
