DIY Summit Momentum Builds for THS 2025 | VIP Delegations from 6 Countries Confirmed, Hosted Buyer Program Launched

The Taiwan Hardware Show (THS), taking place from October 14–16, 2025, in Taichung, once again joined the 11th Global DIY Summit held in Lisbon, Portugal, from June 11–13 as a Silver Sponsor. With a dedicated sponsor booth at the summit, THS actively promoted high-quality products and leading brands from Taiwan’s hardware sector, drawing strong interest from global procurement leaders. This international presence reinforced Taiwan’s position as a strategic sourcing hub in Asia, particularly for buyers seeking resilient and high-value supply chains.

Kaigo CEO Alexander Keim attended the summit for the third consecutive year to engage with CEOs and senior decision-makers worldwide. They are included nearly a thousand manufacturers, retailers, and industry experts from the DIY, home improvement, and gardening sectors. As the sole representative from Taiwan, THS drew widespread attention by showcasing detailed insights into Taiwan’s industrial strengths and global market readiness.

Thanks to strong engagement and effective promotion, THS received confirmation of interest from top global buyer groups and trade associations—including those from Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Leading retail chains such as Kingfisher, Bunnings, and Mitre 10 also expressed their intent to attend the show. Trade associations from Italy and Japan additionally confirmed their plans to organize member delegations to Taiwan in October.

During the three-day summit, industry leaders participated in dynamic panel discussions, keynote presentations, and exclusive networking events that addressed pressing global challenges and retail strategies for the future. Over 85% of attendees were high-level decision-makers, making the event a powerful venue for connecting with top-tier buyers and strategic partners.

THS was featured among an impressive roster of global sponsors, including Bosch, Worx, Koelnmesse, Einhell, KronoSpan, Henkel, tesa, Kärcher, 3M, Rapid, and Crown Paints, further solidifying the show’s international reputation and credibility.

Amid ongoing tariff concerns and shifting global dynamics, this year’s summit adopted the theme "New World Order: Redefining the Global Future of DIY," focusing on adaptability, innovation, and resilience. With 24 years of industry expertise, the Taiwan Hardware Show continues to set the standard for specialized trade fairs in the region. Renowned for attracting qualified international buyers and decision-makers, THS serves as a vital gateway for global businesses seeking to explore, connect, and grow within Asia’s hardware ecosystem.

Exhibitors and visitors alike can expect high-level procurement opportunities, valuable business matchmaking, and access to a growing network of international partners. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this dynamic platform in October!
